Tools: Tri-Roller®, Portable Tri-Roller®,Staking Tools, Cutting Tools, Testing Tools. 

 

This installation requires a portion of the housing be swaged or staked over the chamfers on the bearing. The housing can be roller swaged using a Tri-roller tool in a drill press or vertical milling machine. Some specifications require staking with a Ball, Ring or Segmented tool using a hydraulic press.

Tools: Tri-Roller®, Portable Tri-Roller®, Cutting Tools, Testing Tools.

 

This installation requires that the outer portion of the "V" groove machined on the side of the bearing be swaged over the chamfers on the housing bore. The Tri-roller swages one side at a time using a drill press or vertical milling machine. The Anvil tool swages both sides simultaneously using a hydraulic press.
